Against the Rays

With last evening’s win, the Mets move to 9-7 lifetime against the Rays.  The last time the Mets played the Rays was back in 2009 at Citi Field when the Rays took two of three. You have to go back to 2001 to find the last time the Mets played at Tropicana Field. Back then the team was known as the Devil Rays.  Tampa took two of three in that series as well. Prior to 2001, the Mets were 6-3 over their first nine meetings.
